HOCKEY SEASON IS HERE:
BRASS TRAINING CAMP OPENS MONDAY
At 10:00am Monday morning at Municipal Auditorium, Brass players hit the ice for the first time this season. 1999-2000 marks the third season of Brass hockey
in New Orleans. This will be the first season at New Orleans Arena, which opens October 29 with the Brass home opener against Baton Rouge.
Twenty-six players are currently scheduled to participate in the 1999-2000 Brass training camp. Seven of those twenty-six players spent time with the Brass last
season.
The Brass will practice Monday through Saturday from 10:00am until noon. The Brass will also play 2 preseason games: Friday, October 8 at Baton Rouge and
Sunday, October 10 vs. Baton Rouge at Municipal Auditorium. Sunday’s event is presented by the Brass and The United Way. Face-off is scheduled for 6:05pm.
